What is it?

Pelvic organ prolapse or POP is when 1 or more of the organs in the pelvis descend from their normal position and bulge into the vagina.

It feels like a heaviness or dragging sensation in your pelvic floor, or you may have trouble fully emptying when going to the bathroom. You may have been diagnosed by a medical professional as having POP. When diagnosed by vaginal examination, the prevalence of prolapse is 50% of all women, so it’s very common.

MUTU Evidence for Prolapse:

  • 88% of women suffering from symptoms of Pelvic Organ Prolapse reported significant improvement after using MUTU System
  • In trials, 100% of women with POP symptoms experienced improvement in symptoms within 3 weeks of MUTU

Painful sex (dyspareunia) is a common but neglected and underreported problem for women. Only around 8% of women report painful sex3 but this is unsurprisingly considered to be an underestimate.

Our clinical trial of 100 women asked if participants avoided sex due to pain or discomfort, and 18% said they did.

MUTU Evidence:

  • Of the respondents in our trial who said they experienced pain or discomfort during sexual intercourse 61% had seen an improvement by Week 3 on the programme, and 93% had seen an improvement by 9-12 weeks
  • A 2018 clinical survey of 900 women showed that 89% of women who experienced pain or discomfort during or after sexual intercourse reported an improvement after doing MUTU System
  • Trials showed 90% of those experiencing pain or discomfort during sexual intercourse, saw an improvement by Week 9, and 93% by Week 12.

“I love MUTU system and have recommended it to many of my postnatal mums as well as friends and family over the years. As a postnatal mum wanting to get back into exercise it can be really confusing and overwhelming when looking into the most appropriate exercise after having a baby, and not everything that is branded as being suitable for postnatal mums always is. Wendy’s MUTU system is brilliant! A great example of holistic women’s health!
